Steven Anderson, 34, tried to resurface the ice at a girls’ high school game in Fargo, N.D. on Friday night. It did not go well.

From KFGO-FM:

The teams, Davies and Williston high schools, had to play the third period on rough ice. Thankfully, that seems to be the extent of Anderson’s damage.

Anderson joins Joel Bruss, who was arrested for the same crime in suburban Minneapolis in January 2012. He eventually pled guilty, but not until after stuff like this was written:

The first on record appears to be then-63-year-old John Peragallo, who was arrested on DWI charges at a New Jersey rink in 2005.

About 25 minutes into what should have been a 10-minute job resurfacing the ice, the driver – a part-time employee of the city of Apple Valley – tried to maneuver the unwieldy machine into the arena garage. By then, coach Bryan Dornstreich had called 911.
