The Timberwolves guard donated part of his dunk contest prize money to help build a kitchen facility at the Metro Deaf School in St. Paul, Minn.

LaVine gave $10,000 from his winnings toward the completion of the kitchen. The two-time slam dunk champ has mentored at the school for over a year and will be on hand Monday to serve breakfast to the students.
According to the release, the school has been catering meals because of lack of a functioning kitchen.
