The Irish debuted some alternate uniforms for Wednesday night’s game against Michigan State. We can safely say that fans will either love or hate the new threads.

They’re bold and a definite departure from the traditional uniforms — polarizing enough that there are probably few fans who don’t immediately conjure up a personal opinion, good or bad.
One thing I’d like to point out: This yellow? It’s not gold. It’s mustard yellow. Maybe just regular yellow. It needs to be more iridescent.
Take their shoes, for example.
That is very obviously gold.
