“Alexa, Grow a Tree”
And now Anyone in the United States with an Alexa-enabled device can say “Alexa, grow a tree.”
With the voice command, you will donate $1 to plant one tree through the One Tree Planted organization.
Where Your Donation Is Helping
Some of the initial projects include surface mine restoration and Appalachia and a forest fire restoration in California.
Other projects include planting fruit trees to fight hunger in India and to help improve the habitat for orca whales in the Pacific Northwest.
Since 2014, One Tree Planted has planted more than 40 million trees in 43 countries. In just 2021, 23.5 million trees were planted.
